Crafts: Making crafts from recycled items is fun and educational. You can do it at home or in a classroom, and it makes an engaging and fun rainy day activity. There are tons of websites devoted to teaching you how to make crafts from trash and repurpose items in your home with creativity. Here is one website ben and jerry that will help you find out more about the rubbish disposal process in detail.

  • Make Your Own Recycling Bins. Choose your own waste disposal and recycling bins, and then spend a day decorating them however the kids want. Then, each day, allow the kids to recycle the items while you supervise. Eventually, this will become a habit for them, and they won’t even think to throw away recyclable items such as bottles and cans.

5 Fast, No-Cook Dinner Ideas

As a busy mom, sometimes I just need a no-cook kind of dinner. Here are 5, fast and easy, no cook dinner ideas. You can whip these up in a matter of minutes to help you out on those crazy, chaotic days that we may sometimes face.

1. Tuna Salad “Boats”
For this no-cook idea, you just need hotdog buns (or a baguette) and your favorite tuna salad. Load up the buns with tuna salad and serve with a side of chips and a pickle. If you like, you can line the buns with cheese slices and/or lettuce before putting in the tuna salad. This also works great with chicken or turkey salad as well.

Menu Planning Tips for Busy Moms

It can also be a hectic meal for busy moms who are just getting off of work or who like myself, have been busy with homeschooling, housework, or other activities all day. 1. Schedule your meals in advance.  I can usually only manage to schedule my family’s meals a week ahead of time, but I know of many moms who plan a month ahead. Either way, scheduling your meals ahead of time is one of the most important planning tips.  Knowing what you are going to eat in advance will help dinner time run smoother.
